What is an entrepreneur?

What is an entrepreneur? For me, Steve Jobs captured the true spirit of an entrepreneur when he said: "It's better to be a pirate than to join the navy". Entrepreneurs don't follow the herd, they make their own way. They have no interest in helping other people live their dreams. They have their own dreams to chase. Entrepreneurs set up small businesses and those businesses grow and thrive. Every now and then one turns out to be a unicorn but the vast majority become the 99% of businesses which are SMEs, small and medium-sized businesses that drive our economy through good times and bad. I love underdogs and I love entrepreneurs.
